Worth the Read – November 5, 2016

Whew! We are finally counting down the days until we will no longer be inundated with nonstop, twenty-four/seven election coverage. (Except maybe for all of the post-game review and analysis that will last until the next campaigns gear up.) I am starting this week’s list off with what I believe is one of the most pressing issues in this election, and why I will vote the way I plan to vote on election day. We are swiftly seeing the erosion of the fundamental belief of our nation: freedom. That’s what is literally at stake in this election. I’ve also included a few other posts to help you sort through what is going on, why it matters and how that should affect your vote as a Christian. I’ve also included a couple of really helpful posts for pastors and people dealing with expository preaching. To be honest, if there had been more bold, passionate expository preaching from American pulpits the past 100 years we likely wouldn’t be in the spot we are in now. Enjoy and make sure to go vote your Christian convictions!
