Good Saturday morning to you! I hope you had a great week and were able to watch all of the goings-on with the presidential inauguration yesterday. These are undoubtedly interesting and exciting days for us as Americans. You don’t have to agree with our new President on everything to admire the peaceful transfer of power that is the hallmark of our democracy. This week’s list is a smorgasbord of info that I know you’ll enjoy. Perhaps the most impactful story is the one I placed first on the list. It is an amazing demonstration of fatherly love and biblical truth. Since we are about to begin our annual series on stewardship at Abilene, there are a couple of posts on giving that I think you’ll find helpful. Since the presidency of Barack Obama has officially come to an end, there are a few posts that give some commentary on his administration that I found insightful. As always, I don’t list only those posts that I agree with everything the author wrote or believes. I share this weekly list to help you walk more closely and witness more effectively in this world through which we are journeying. Enjoy!
