Worth the Read – August 20, 2016

You’re in for several treats as you read through this week’s reading list. There are a couple of really helpful posts on the New Testament canon and the King James translation. Chuck Lawless’ post on how to increase your church attendance this weekend is simple but effective. The post on those who believe the earth is flat is interesting but goes against the Biblical truth that the earth is a sphere that “hangs on nothing.” (Isaiah 40:22, Job 26:7) I think you get the gist. Enjoy your reading, and especially remember that a mention here doesn’t mean that I affirm the writer or agree with the post. This list is here to help you be salt and light in a dark, depraved world.
