04 Jun Sunday Preview – Three Essentials For An Effective Ministry
I’m really excited to begin this Sunday morning a series of messages that I’m going to loosely collect under the title, “The TBC 2010 Summer Bible Conference.” My intention this summer is to prepare and preach messages that I either have, or will, preach in upcoming Bible Conferences. This summer’s series will be similar to last year’s series that I entitled, “The Old Time Religion” in which I prepared and preached sermons geared more to “revival” settings.
I’m excited about the first message that the Lord has placed on my heart. I’m entitling it, “Three Essentials For An Effective Ministry.” In this sermon, which is an exposition of Matthew 13’s account of “the Parable of the Soils,” I intend on sharing the three things that must be evident if our personal, and even our corporate ministries, as believers is going to be effective.
The outline is simple and straightforward.
1. There must be the proper soil.
2. There must be a powerful seed.
3. There must be a persistent sower.
I pray that you will make every effort to be here for every sermon in this summer’s series. I am praying that the Lord will use these simple sermons to encourage and equip His people and excite us about being busy about His business.
Let’s “Get Excited About God’s Word!”
We will also be celebrating the ordinance of baptism again Sunday morning, so come and cheer on your new brother in Christ! It’s going to be a great day and one, if you’re in town, that you won’t want to miss.
I look forward to seeing you and your family bright and early Sunday morning!
HIS.
