29 Mar Review, Reflect, Relax (Sunday, March 28, 2010)
I am flat worn out (in a good way) so this week’s “Review, Reflect, Relax” will be short on review and reflect so that I can get to the relaxing part.
We’ve just finished the third and final presentation of The Crucified Lamb, The Risen Lord and I just want to thank each and every person, from the choir members to the orchestra; from the cast to those working behind the scenes, and pastor Steve for a tremendous job. It was a great blessing and I know that there were many that were touched and encouraged by this powerful portrayal of the the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. I’m so very thankful for those who indicated that they prayed to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior through this year’s presentation. To God be the glory!
I appreciate all of the words of encouragement (as well as the friendly ribbing) for this morning’s message. When we take the time, like we did this morning, to remember and reflect on the Savior’s sacrifice it ought to make us more thankful for the salvation we have as well as want to tell others how to come to know Jesus as well.
Lastly, in review, I’m so very proud of Grayson Everidge coming this morning to make his open declaration, letting everybody know that he asked Jesus into his heart and life last Sunday night after the service. I’m looking forward to seeing him baptized this coming Sunday on Easter. What a way to celebrate the Risen Savior!
Well, it’s going to be a busy week getting the church cleaned up and set back up for Easter. Don’t forget that there are no Wednesday night activities. Also, make every opportunity to be here next Sunday morning as we celebrate Easter together.
He is risen! He is risen indeed!
I look forward to seeing you, your family and all of our friends and neighbors and coworkers that you can bring with you this coming Sunday.
HIS.
Pastor Brad
