25 Dec Merry Christmas From The Whitt Family!
Tonight as I sit here listening to the familiar music of the Christmas season and watching some classic Christmas movies, I can’t help but think about all of the blessings that God has poured out on me and my family with during this past year. I am so undeserving, but so thankful that God loved me enough to give me a wonderful wife, two beautiful children and eternal life through His Son, Jesus.
Earlier today something that my pastor Adrian Rogers said years ago came to mind that really expresses the meaning and message of Christmas.
“He came as He did, born of a virgin, to be what He was, sinless. He was what He was, sinless, to do what He did, die for our sins. And He died for our sins to make us what we are not but ought to be and that is sons of God. He came to earth that we might go to heaven. He was born of a virgin that we might be born again. He was made the son of man that you and I might become sons and daughters of God.”
This Christmas take some time as a family to thank God for the greatest gift ever given – His Son, Jesus.
