Worth the Read – March 5, 2016

Worth-the-Read

Things sure are a’changin’ in our Southern Baptist Convention. With nearly twenty percent of our IMB missionaries and personnel coming off of the field we are back to mission personnel numbers we haven’t seen since the early nineties. This week’s first post by Will Hall, editor of the Baptist Message, helps us understand the impact of this tragedy. Other posts listed here cover things from being cognizant of just how harmful simple things can be to a masterful exposition of 1 John 2:2 and explanation of the extent of the atonement by Dr. David Allen. I hope you enjoy and are encouraged and enabled to walk closer with Jesus and be more fervent in your work for Him as a result of reading this week’s list. As always, just because something is listed here doesn’t mean I necessarily agree with some, most or all of the post. It’s placed here as an easily accessible resource for you.
